About RCC
What is Rosewood Community Council?
The purpose of this non-partisan, non-profit (501c-3), volunteer organization is to identify and recommend solutions to neighborhood needs and concerns. Top priorities include personal and environmental safety, physical improvements, land use, zoning changes, and other community initiatives that will enhance and preserve the residential character of the neighborhood.
RCC works closely with City of Columbia departments, boards, and committees regarding issues that may impact the community and to ensure that the concerns of residents are heard. RCC also works closely with the Rosewood Merchants Association to help ensure neighborhood-friendly progress in our commercial and industrial areas.
Who can become a member?
Any homeowner, home renter, or residential property owner of Rosewood Community may become a member with voting privileges after presenting proof of residency/ownership and a 28 day waiting period. Registration for membership may occur at any RCC meeting or event. Membership is free.
